At least two people were injured - including a child - after Russia targeted a private home in an overnight attack on May 10, authorities said.

An 11-year-old child and 72-year-old woman are currently being treated.

Explosions were first reported by Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov shortly after 3:00 a.m. EET.

A residential area was hit and a fire erupted in residential buildings, he added shortly thereafter.

A private house was damaged in the attack, Kharkiv Governor Oleh Synehubov, said.
