Invincibility Point is a place where heat, water, electricity, mobile communication, internet, a place to rest, and first aid kits are being provided.
This applies mainly to schools and kindergartens on the city’s left bank, as well as several institutions in other districts. Classes are now held remotely: when electricity is available, teachers conduct online lessons; when it is not, students receive assignments for independent study.
The city administration reported that some schools have opened emergency classrooms for children, but parents are encouraged to keep their children at home whenever possible. Employers are likewise urged to allow remote work for parents of preschoolers or school-age children.
"Services are now working to restore electricity and water supply in the capital," the administration added.
DTEK energy company earlier reported partial power outages in Kyiv and disruptions to the city’s water supply. Twelve people were injured in the overnight Russian attack, after drone debris struck a residential building in the Pechersk district. Damage was also reported in the Holosiivskyi, Desnianskyi, and Podilskyi districts.
Because of power outages, Kyiv Metro and public transport are operating with schedule adjustments.
Ukraine’s Energy Ministry confirmed that Russian forces carried out a massive nighttime attack on the country’s energy infrastructure, with hits recorded in the Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhya, Kyiv, and Cherkasy oblasts.
