The blast wave shattered windows in neighboring residential buildings and two educational institutions.
The latest data from city authorities indicate no casualties.
A large fire broke out in the two-story non-residential building and has since been localized, Mayor Vitali Klitschko reported earlier.
Municipal services continue working at the strike site, and a support center for affected residents has been set up.
Firefighters and rescuers had to work in severe weather conditions — temperatures in Kyiv dropped to about minus 11 degrees Celsius. As a result, ice quickly formed across the firefighting site, clearly visible in the photos.
Air Force earlier reported that Russia attacked Ukraine overnight with 156 drones, with 16 UAVs hitting targets. Ukrainian air defense forces neutralized 135 drones.
