Ukraine hits Ilsky oil refinery and Russian comms node — General Staff

Ukrainian Defense Forces struck Ilsky oil refinery, logistics facilities, and a Russian communication node, AFU General Staff reported on Feb. 17.

The refinery was hit overnight, resulting in a major fire.

General Staff noted that the Ilsky plant is a key oil enterprise in southern Russia [it is located in Krasnodar Krai - ed.], critical for fuel production. Its primary processing capacity is 6.6 million tons of oil annually. The facility supplies the Russian army.

Strikes on occupied territories

Ukrainian forces also targeted enemy positions in the temporarily occupied Zaporizhzhya Oblast, specifically in Rozivka and Liubymivka.

Logistics depots in Donetsk and near Lidyne were also attacked.

A communication node of the Russian 127th Motorized Rifle Division was hit near Zelenopil, Zaporizhzhya Oblast.

General Staff added that enemy losses and the scale of damage are being clarified.
