Belgorod, Russia, came under a massive drone attack, sparking fires at logistics warehouses and energy infrastructure sites, according to OSINT channels and local reports on July 25.

Preliminary reports indicated that smoke was rising near an electrical substation at the Promin thermal power plant. Russian sources also reported a possible strike on the Pivdenna substation, where a fire broke out after the attack, producing heavy smoke.

Acting Belgorod region Gov. Alexander Shuvayev confirmed the overnight attack but did not specify which facilities had been damaged.

He said damage and fires were reported across the city and that firefighters were working to extinguish the blazes. Residents were urged to stay away from windows, avoid travel and not go outside unless necessary.

Belgorod had already come under missile attacks in early July. At the time, a strike on a local thermal power plant was reported, leaving parts of the city without electricity.
