Moscow warehouse inferno: blaze spreads across 10,000 square meters

Preliminary reports indicate that the fire in the town of Klin, just outside Moscow, spans an area of 10,000 square meters. Over 40 specialists and 12 pieces of equipment have been dispatched to battle the blaze.

Footage from the scene is circulating online, with Russian Telegram channels reporting that several warehouses are burning, including new structures that were not yet operational.

Currently, there are no reported injuries, and the cause of the fire remains unknown.

Klin is home to a military town and the Klin-5 airfield, where the 92nd Separate Helicopter Squadron is based. The squadron operates Mi-8AMTSh, Mi-8AMTSh-VN, and Mi-24/35 helicopters.

In December 2024, Ukraine’s Ministry of Defense’s Main Intelligence Directorate reportedly eliminated Russian engineer Mikhail Shatsky in the Moscow region. Shatsky was involved in modernizing Russian missiles.
