Mobilization in unrecognized Transnistria fails, but threat remains, says Odesa regional governor

"Transnistrians see that Russia, as always, will use them as cannon fodder — no one wants to become minced meat…” Bratchuk said. 

“I think that the resignation of the government in Transnistria is due to the fact that this plan failed completely, i.e. the Russian overseers did not get the expected results." 

According to Bratchuk, the territory of Moldova controlled by Russia has even reduced the level of terrorist threat from red to yellow, although the threat from Transnistria remains, according to Odesa authorities. 

"Certain tensions are constantly present. This risk will continue to be present as long as the Russian Federation is there. And this is understandable, but there will be no second front," Bratchuk added.
