Moldova condemns Russia for election interference and drone violations

The Moldovan Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a protest note to newly appointed Russian Ambassador Oleh Ozerov over alleged Russian interference in elections and the downing of two Russian drones, the ministry's press service reported on Nov. 12.
Moldova's Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a protest note over Russia's deliberate interference in Moldova's presidential elections and referendum, condemning Russian drones violating Moldovan airspace near Keushani and Rishkani.
The ministry warned that the drones posed a threat to citizens' lives, calling the actions a serious violation and urging Russia to cease such interference.
The protest followed the discovery of two Russian drones in Moldova on Nov. 10.
