Starting at 9 a.m. on May 30, one person will be allowed to buy no more than 20 liters of A-95 gasoline per day, Aksyonov said.
He also urged residents of the occupied peninsula not to stockpile fuel and to refuel “as usual.”
A similar restriction was earlier introduced in occupied Sevastopol, also limiting gasoline purchases to 20 liters per day.
The fuel shortage in occupied Crimea worsened after restrictions were imposed on traffic through the so-called “land corridor” across temporarily occupied Ukrainian territories. Russian authorities had used the route as one of the main supply channels for fuel deliveries to the peninsula.
The restrictions were introduced amid drone attacks on Russian logistics and transport infrastructure.
The Phantoms special unit of Ukraine’s Defense Intelligence damaged railway logistics facilities used by the Russian army in temporarily occupied Crimea in April 2026.
Ukraine’s Defense Intelligence reported on May 5 that specialists from the Phantoms unit had struck a Be-12 Chaika aircraft, three boats and a support vessel used by Russian occupation forces in occupied Crimea.
