Drones attacked a shipbuilding plant in Vyborg, Russia's Leningrad Oblast, overnight, damaging a Project 23550 patrol icebreaker, volunteer and Defense Minister advisor Serhii Sternenko reported on March 25.

Residents reported a fire on the enterprise's territory as a dry cargo ship caught fire, he wrote.

Exilenova+ Telegram channel published a photo of the damaged vessel in the port at the Vyborg Shipyard, one of Russia's key shipbuilding enterprises specializing in the construction of civilian ice-class vessels and offshore equipment.

The photo likely shows the Purga patrol icebreaker, a Project 23550 vessel, whose completion was planned to be transferred to the Admiralty Shipyards, the Telegram channel wrote.
