Russia launches another drone swarm at Ukraine's marine infrastructure

Russian forces again attacked the port infrastructure of Odesa Oblast with strike drones overnight, Odesa Oblast Military Administration head Oleh Kiper reported on Telegram on April 15.

Warehouse and administrative buildings were damaged.

Preliminary reports indicated no casualties. The inspection of damages and the elimination of the consequences of the Russian strike are ongoing.

Fires broke out on the territory of the port infrastructure as a result of the attack, but were later exyinguished, State Emergency Service (SES) clarified.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces' Air Force warned of a group of UAVs heading toward Izmail in Odesa Oblast at night. Monitoring Telegram channels wrote about 15 drones targeting the city.

Russians attacked marine infrastructure facilities in Izmail the day before, with several hits recorded on the port's territory.

The Russian army attacked Ukraine with three Iskander-M ballistic missiles and 324 strike UAVs of the Shahed, Gerbera, Italmas, and other types on the night of April 15, according to Air Force data. Ukraine's air defense shot down and neutralized 309 drones.

A 74-year-old woman was killed in Zaporizhzhya as Russian troops struck a public transport stop, damaging a parking lot, an enterprise, and nearby residential buildings.

Russia also struck the center of Dnipro, damaging a nine-story new building, causing a fire in an administrative building, and injuring three people.
