Russian forces had been using the route to transport ammunition and personnel for the 1443rd Motor Rifle Regiment, the 83rd Guards Air Assault Brigade, and the 810th Naval Infantry Brigade, the partisans said.
The disruption has already affected the combat capability of these units, as delays in ammunition deliveries and reinforcements forced Russian troops to enter combat with critically low supplies, resulting in significant personnel losses, according to Atesh.
Russian forces advanced near the village of Ryasne in Sumy Oblast, the DeepState monitoring project reported on April 3, while Ukrainian forces cleared positions near two settlements in Donetsk Oblast.
Ukrainian troops also repelled a Russian assault attempt in Sumy Oblast, the 80th Air Assault Brigade said on April 2.
