Russian forces carried out a massive combined missile and drone attack on Ukraine’s Poltava Oblast overnight, damaging energy infrastructure, regional Governor Volodymyr Kohut reported on Telegram on Oct. 3.
Missile strikes and drone attacks were recorded at several sites across the oblast, as well as debris from downed targets. Several houses were also damaged alongside the energy grid.
There were no reported casualties.
Earlier, the Ukrainian Air Force had warned of missile and drone activity over Poltava Oblast, while residents reported widespread attack. Russian strikes also targeted Dnipro, Odesa, and other Ukrainian oblasts overnight.
