Two railway workers injured as Russia targets Ukraine’s transport grid

Two railway workers were injured: a train conductor in Zhytomyr and a locomotive driver in Kyiv. Their condition is reported as satisfactory, and both are being examined by doctors.
In Kyiv and Kharkiv oblast, Russian strikes damaged technical tracks as well as administrative and service buildings belonging to the railway.
Despite the damage, Ukrzaliznytsia stated that trains continue to operate on schedule.
Air raid alerts were issued across Ukraine due to the launch of Tu-95MS bombers, Kalibr missiles, and the threat of Shahed drones.
In Kyiv, a ballistic missile strike killed 10 people and injured 63. Emergency services are still searching for people trapped under the rubble of a residential building in the Sviatoshynskyi district.
Kharkiv came under violent attack with missiles and drones, with damage reported in at least two districts. Two people were injured.
