Russia hits Ukraine with ballistic missiles and 180+ drones

Russia attacked Ukraine with two Iskander-M ballistic missiles from Crimea and launching 183 attack drones, including Shahed, Gerbera, Italmass, and other UAV types, Ukrainian Air Force reported on Feb. 5.
Air defense forces neutralized 156 Russian drones. The strikes resulted in direct hits by ballistic missiles and 22 drones at 16 locations, as well as falling debris from intercepted targets at seven additional sites.
As of 8 a.m., the Russian drone attack was still ongoing, the Air Force warned.
Russia carried out another strike on Kyiv overnight, injuring two people. Buildings, a kindergarten, an office facility were damaged in four districts of the capital, and several cars caught fire.
Explosions were also reported in Kharkiv in the morning. City authorities said the strike hit the Slobidskyi district.
