Russia struck energy infrastructure in Odesa overnight on Feb. 17, causing severe damage to key facilities, Ukraine’s largest private energy company DTEK said.

The company described the destruction as extensive, warning that repairs will take significant time before equipment can be fully restored. Crews are currently clearing debris at the damaged sites.

DTEK said its top priority is restoring electricity to critical infrastructure facilities.

Three people were injured in the Russian drone attack on Odesa. One drone struck an apartment on the upper floors of a residential high-rise building.

Officials also confirmed hits on warehouse facilities and a vehicle service station. A private home, garages, and several vehicles were damaged in the city.

Russia launched a large-scale overnight missile and drone attack across Ukraine, including western regions. Explosions were reported in Odesa, Dnipro, Kropyvnytskyi, and Burshtyn.
