Damage across Ukraine: Ivano-Frankivsk, Khmelnytskyi, Lutsk, Nizhyn and rail lines in Kirovohrad Oblast

Explosions were heard in Dnipropetrovsk, Kirovohrad, Volyn, Lviv, Sumy, Kyiv, Khmelnytskyi, Rivne, Ternopil, and Ivano-Frankivsk oblasts, while air defenses worked over Kyiv.

9:05 a.m. The Air Force said Russia launched 526 aerial targets in the massive strike, of which 451 were downed: 502 Shahed-type drones and decoys (430 downed), 16 Kalibr cruise missiles (14 downed), and eight Kh-101 missiles (seven downed). Three missiles and 69 drones hit targets at 14 sites.

8:52 a.m. In Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast, rescuers localized a major fire caused by the strikes, with three hotspots covering about 9,000 square meters.

8:32 a.m. In Vyshhorod, Kyiv Oblast, debris from a downed drone fell between apartment blocks, causing a fire that damaged cars and windows. No casualties were reported.

8:23 a.m. In Kalush, Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast, schools and kindergartens were closed due to a strike-caused fire. Air quality is being monitored.

8:16 a.m. In Chernihiv Oblast, a strike on critical infrastructure left Nizhyn partly without power and water, affecting more than 30,000 households.

7:40 a.m. Ivano-Frankivsk regional authorities confirmed another fire at an infrastructure site.

7:25 a.m. Lutsk was attacked by “a significant number” of Shaheds, causing fires in garages and damage to civilian property, though no casualties.

7:22 a.m. In Khmelnytskyi, explosions caused fires and damage to buildings, according to the mayor. No casualties were reported.

7:16 a.m. In Kirovohrad Oblast, five people were injured and 28 houses damaged after strikes hit railway infrastructure in Znamianka community.

Overnight, Russia launched 150 Shahed drones and other UAVs, with air defenses destroying 120. Bila Tserkva in Kyiv Oblast was among the targets, where one person was killed and a fire broke out. A large fire also erupted in Sumy.
