Russia hit Kyiv, Odesa, Zaporizhzhya, and Chernihiv with missile strikes, causing widespread explosions

9:15 a.m. — The number of victims in the attack on the historic center of Odesa has risen to 17, including a pregnant woman; one woman has died, according to the regional military administration.

9:05 a.m. — In Kyiv, 60 people have been injured and 14 killed, according to data from the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

7:22 a.m. — The death toll in Kyiv has increased to 14, with 44 injured. Another six people were injured in Odesa, and one person each was injured in Kyiv and Chernihiv oblasts, Interior Minister Ihor Klymenko reported.

6:55 a.m. — The number of victims in Odesa has increased to 13. People may still be trapped under the rubble, Odesa governor Oleh Kiper reported.

6:18 a.m. — In Zaporizhzhya, a high-rise building and dormitory were damaged in the Russian attack. The blast wave shattered windows in more than 50 apartments, according to regional governor Ivan Fedorov. No casualties have been reported.

5:35 a.m. — At dawn, the enemy launched a massive drone attack on Odesa. There is widespread destruction, fires, and damage to civilian infrastructure, including residential buildings, an inclusive center, a preschool, garages, and more. Casualties have been reported, said Kiper.

5:05 a.m. — Suspilne reported explosions in Odesa.

3:41 a.m. — A cruise missile explosion was recorded near Chernihiv, reported regional military administration head Bryzhinsky.

3:36 a.m. — An explosion was heard in Chernihiv, Suspilne reported.

3:30 a.m. — In Zaporizhzhya, a fire broke out at one enterprise as a result of the Russian attack, according to Fedorov. The blast wave also shattered windows in nearby buildings.

3:26 a.m. — The Air Force reported missile movements:

• From Poltava Oblast toward Cherkasy Oblast;

• A group of cruise missiles in Mykolaiv Oblast moving northwest;

• Two groups of missiles toward Kirovohrad Oblast;

• A missile from Cherkasy Oblast toward Kirovohrad Oblast.

2:27 a.m. — The Air Force updated information on the enemy attack:

• UAV headed toward Zhytomyr city;

• UAV toward Vasylkiv;

• High-speed target from the south toward Dnipro;

• Several new UAV groups in Sumy Oblast moving southwest;

• UAV groups over the Black Sea;

• High-speed target from Kherson Oblast toward Mykolaiv Oblast.

2:11 a.m. — Explosions heard in Zaporizhzhya Oblast, Fedorov reported.

2:10 a.m. — The enemy is attacking Kyiv with Shahed drones and missiles; casualties and multiple strikes have been reported.

12:20 a.m. — A Shahed drone fell in the Solomyanskyi district of Kyiv, without causing a fire, according to the Kyiv City Military Administration.

11:54 p.m. — UAVs passed Boyarka heading toward Kyiv, the Air Force reported.

11:26 p.m. — UAVs were headed toward Kremenchuk and Kryvyi Rih, the Air Force warned.

11:25 p.m. — The Air Force reported UAV movement:

• In Chernihiv Oblast moving southwest;

• In eastern Kyiv Oblast;

• From Sumy to Poltava and Chernihiv oblasts;

• From Mykolaiv to Kirovohrad Oblast;

• From Dnipropetrovsk Oblast moving west;

• From Poltava to Cherkasy Oblast.

10:47 p.m. — A UAV was reported moving through Brovary toward Kyiv. A group of UAVs was also reported heading toward Odesa from the Black Sea, the Air Force said.

10:40 p.m. — Suspilne reported explosions in Kherson for the third time that day.

10:38 p.m. — Russian tactical aviation dropped KAB guided bombs on Zaporizhzhya Oblast.

9:50 p.m. — The Air Force reported Shahed drone movements:

• From Sumy to Poltava and Chernihiv oblasts;

• At the border of Kyiv and Chernihiv oblasts;

• From Poltava to Cherkasy and Kirovohrad oblasts;

• In Dnipropetrovsk Oblast moving northwest;

• In Zaporizhzhya Oblast heading toward Dnipropetrovsk;

• From Kherson to Mykolaiv Oblast;

• In eastern Kharkiv Oblast heading west.

9:40 p.m. — A UAV threat was reported in the Dnipro area.

9:32 p.m. — UAVs were reported moving toward Zaporizhzhya from the east, the Air Force said.

9:22 p.m. — Kyiv Air Defense Commander Tymur Tkachenko reported an enemy UAV over the capital.
“Unfortunately, the Russians are launching their deadly weapons from different directions, many of them are already in Ukraine’s airspace. Kyiv residents, do not ignore the air alert signal; stay in shelters!” Tkachenko wrote on Telegram.

9:17 p.m. — The Air Force reported UAV movement past Brovary toward Kyiv.
The Kyiv Regional Military Administration also confirmed UAV activity and reported that air defense forces were operating in Oblast.
