A 62-year-old US citizen died in Kyiv's Solomyanskyi district during a Russian attack on the city overnight, Mayor Vitali Klitschko reported on June 17.
Reports indicated that the man was in a residential building across from the one where rescue workers were helping victims after the crash of a Russian drone. Medical personnel first recorded clinical death, followed by biological death.
As of the morning, emergency services were finalizing efforts to deal with the attack aftermath. City authorities urge residents not to ignore air raid warnings and to take shelter immediately when alerts sound.
