"The enemy made advances in Kursk Oblast, particularly almost fully occupying the village of Gornal and making progress near Oleshni," the analysts wrote.
"These are the last villages where Defense Forces maintain control. Therefore, the 'Kursk operation' is still ongoing."
According to DeepState, Ukrainian forces are actively monitoring and striking Russian logistics, troop concentrations, and other military targets.
The analysts also noted that the Russian army continues its attempts to advance in Sumy Oblast.
"They are building up forces in the village of Zhuravka and trying to move toward Bilovody," DeepState reported.
"Additionally, they are fortifying positions and accumulating forces in Basivka, attempting to push toward Loknya, but so far without success. The Defense Forces are making maximum efforts to prevent Russian forces from advancing and consolidating."
The Russian Armed Forces Chief of General Staff Valery Gerasimov earlier claimed that on April 26, Russian forces had "liberated" the last settlement in Kursk Oblast — Gornal.
Ukraine’s General Staff dismissed these claims, saying that Russian information about the end of combat clashes in Kursk Oblast is not true.
"The operational situation is difficult, but our units continue to hold designated positions and carry out assigned tasks," the General Staff said.
