Putin calls war ‘thrill,’ claims Russia prefers action over stability

The war is "a thrill ride" as Russia just gets too "bored" without a little action, Russian dictator Vladimir Putin, ever the philosopher of chaos, said at a live Q&A session on Dec. 19.

"When everything is calm, measured, and stable — it's boring," Putin casually declared, his priorities shining through.

"It's stagnation. We crave action. The moment the action starts — everything whistles past your head, seconds fly by, bullets too, unfortunately — then we’re scared. It's terrifying - but not horrifying. Everything comes down to economics."

He went on to reassure the audience that Russian forces will "definitely drive the Armed Forces of Ukraine out of Kursk Oblast," though when asked about a timeline, the master strategist chose to keep things vague.

"The battles there are serious," he added, sounding more like a sports commentator than a leader overseeing a devastating conflict.
