Russian invaders attacked civilian infrastructure in Ukraine’s Odesa Oblast with Shahed drones overnight, damaging an energy facility, regional military administrator Oleh Kiper said on Dec. 6.

In Oblast, officials reported disruptions to electricity and heating. Critical infrastructure has been switched to generators. No casualties were reported. Utility crews are already working to repair the damage from the Russian strike, Kiper added. Nine Points of Invincibility have been deployed in Oblast.

Overnight, Russia launched a massive attack on Ukraine with Shaheds and ballistic missiles, with explosions reported in Kyiv, Dnipro, Chernihiv, Poltava and other oblasts. On the morning of Dec. 6, Russia launched missiles from Tu-95MS and Tu-160MS bombers, with a group of missiles heading toward Kyiv, Khmelnytskyi, Vinnytsia and western oblasts, the Air Force said.

A strike on Fastiv in Kyiv Oblast destroyed the city’s railway station, prompting Ukrzaliznytsia to adjust train routes and schedules. Three people were injured in Oblast, the regional administration said.

In Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, casualties and damage were also reported.

In Chernihiv Oblast, critical infrastructure facilities came under attack.
