Russia’s massive overnight drone and missile attack was focused on Ukraine’s energy infrastructure, the Energy Ministry reported on Telegarm on Oct. 3.
The enemy targeted the energy grid and gas transportation facilities in several regions of the country.
Emergency crews and energy specialists are working at the affected sites to repair the damage and stabilize the situation, the ministry said.
Earlier, the Ukrainian Air Force reported that Russian forces had launched 381 attack drones and fired 35 missiles at Ukraine overnight. Air defense units shot down 320 targets.
The strikes primarily targeted critical infrastructure in Kharkiv and Poltava oblasts, while damage and power outages were also recorded in Sumy, Dnipropetrovsk, Odesa, and Kyiv oblasts.
