Four Russian aerial bombs hit Nova Poshta terminal in Sumy

Russian forces launched four guided aerial bombs at a Nova Poshta terminal in Sumy overnight on August 28, the private postal company announced in a statement.

“The enemy launched four guided aerial bombs on one of our terminals in Sumy, damaging three trucks,” the statement read.

No casualties were reported in the attack.

Nova Poshta also confirmed that a sorting depot in Kyiv Oblast was destroyed by a Russian drone during the overnight attacks, adding that affected customers will be compensated for the full declared value of their shipments.

Head of the Bilohorodka community Anton Ovsienko reported earlier that a Russian strike hit Svyatopetrivske in Kyiv Oblast on August 28, damaging a Nova Poshta warehouse complex and adjacent production facilities.

Russian forces targeted Kyiv and the surrounding region for the second consecutive day, with explosions shaking the capital amid reports of falling debris and warehouse fires.
