Russia launched a repeated strike on emergency service workers and three medics who were providing assistance in Kyiv’s Darnytskyi district after its brutal night attack, National Police reported on Jan. 9.
Ukrainian police are documenting the strike consequences.
Four people were killed and 24 others wounded.
Law enforcement released photographs showing severe destruction in residential buildings across the city.

Damage was recorded in the Darnytskyi, Dniprovskyi, Desnianskyi, Shevchenkivskyi, Pecherskyi, and Holosiivskyi districts.
Powerful explosions were heard throughout Kyiv overnight. The city was attacked with Shahed drones, ballistic missiles, and cruise missiles. The strikes caused disruptions to heating and electricity supplies in several areas.
