Russian mass drone attack hits Odesa and Oblast, fires break out at infrastructure sites

“Overnight, the enemy carried out a massive attack on Odesa. A hit on an infrastructure facility has been recorded,” he said.

According to him, there is currently no information about casualties or damage to residential buildings.

Ukraine’s State Emergency Service said more than 80 rescuers and 20 units of equipment were deployed to deal with the aftermath of the attack.

Russia launched a large-scale strike on Kharkiv overnight on March 7, killing at least seven people and injuring 10 others. A five-story residential building was destroyed, and more people may remain trapped under the rubble.

In Kyiv, debris from drones and missiles fell in three districts. Explosions were also reported in Odesa, Mykolaiv, Vinnytsia, Khmelnytskyi and other oblasts.

Ukrzaliznytsia said several trains in Rivne, Vinnytsia and Zhytomyr oblasts were forced to change routes due to damage to railway infrastructure.
