Rescuers show aftermath of Russia’s overnight drone attack on Odesa Oblast that damaged homes and caused fires

Russian invaders launched another drone attack on Ukraine’s Odesa Oblast, causing fires and damaging private homes with debris from downed drones, the State Emergency Service reported on Nov. 9.

Rescuers confirmed that private homes and a garage were damaged, and added that a gas pipeline was also hit in the Russian attack.

Oleh Kiper, head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, said Russian invaders targeted civilians and civilian infrastructure.

According to him, a garage and the roofs of two residential houses were destroyed in Oblast. Fires broke out but were quickly extinguished by emergency crews.

Rescuers confirmed that private homes and a garage were damaged, and added that a gas pipeline was also hit in the Russian attack.

On the evening of Nov. 7, Russian forces carried out drone strikes on the Odesa Oblast, damaging critical infrastructure.
