Russian drone strike on Konotop injures five, including three children

A Russian drone attack on the city of Konotop in Sumy Oblast left residents without water and caused partial power outages, while damaging a residential building and sparking a fire, the city's mayor said late on June 4.
According to Semenikhin, five people were injured in the attack, including three children born in 2012, 2017 and 2023.
"All three children are in the hospital together with their mother, born in 1988, who was also injured in the enemy strike," Semenikhin said.
On June 1, Russian drone strikes hit a hospital in Konotop. Semenikhin said no one was injured, but buildings at the medical facility were damaged.
During a mass Russian drone attack on Konotop overnight on May 20, one Shahed drone struck a five-story residential building, causing three floors to collapse. A 94-year-old woman was killed and 11 people were injured.
