Russian drone hit a private television and radio company's building in Kremenchuk, sparking a blaze, Poltava governor Vitalii Dyakivnych reported on Oct. 22.

Direct impact ignited a structural fire within the commercial media facility.

"Preliminary reports indicate no casualties. Information regarding the extent of the damage is being clarified," Dyakivnych noted in an official update.

The drone strike marks the second consecutive day that Russian forces have hit civilian and municipal infrastructure in Kremenchuk.

Just 24 hours earlier, Russian forces struck an academic building of the Mykhailo Ostrohradskyi National University in Kremenchuk, sparking a major fire and injuring two people. One victim remains hospitalized in moderate condition, while a 16-year-old sustained a severe concussion, acute acoustic blast trauma, and multiple contusions.

On Oct. 7, Russian forces executed a coordinated mass air strike against Kremenchuk deploying ballistic missiles, cruise missiles, and strike drones. The attack killed two civilians and injured 47 others.

The Oct. 7 bombardment heavily damaged an entire cluster of multi-story residential apartment towers and private homes across Kremenchuk, blowing out hundreds of windows, compromising structural facades, and incinerating civilian vehicles throughout surrounding residential neighborhoods.
