Russian drone strike hits plant in Poltava Oblast, over 5,000 homes lose gas supply

Russian forces struck an industrial facility in Ukraine’s Poltava Oblast with drones overnight, leaving 5,040 households without gas supply, regional governor Vitalii Diakivnych said on March 27.

As a result of the attack, technological equipment at an enterprise in the Poltava district was damaged. No casualties were reported.

The regional administration added that all services are working to eliminate the consequences of the Russian attack.

Ukraine’s Air Force said that overnight Russian forces attacked Ukraine with 102 drones, with air defense neutralizing 93 of them. Hits were recorded at eight locations.

Damage was also reported in Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhia and Kryvyi Rih.
