Russian overnight drone strike heavily damages port and energy infrastructure in Izmail

Russian occupiers struck the city of Izmail in Odesa Oblast overnight, damaging port and energy infrastructure, local District State Administration reported on Facebook on March 26.
Damage was also reported in the Vylkove community, the administration noted.
Air Force earlier reported the movement of Shahed drones toward the south of Odesa Oblast. Media outlets later reported a series of explosions in Izmail.
Russian attack in Odesa Oblast damaged two civilian commercial vessels flying the flags of Palau and Barbados on March 20, moored at berths and loaded with grain.
Russian strikes also hit administrative buildings. A grain bunker and equipment were damaged on the port's territory.
Russian troops attacked the south of Odesa Oblast with drones on Feb. 17, damaging energy, industrial, and port infrastructure facilities.
