Drone attack hits homes and medical facility in Odesa

A medical facility was damaged in Odesa in a Russian drone attack overnight, no patients were injured, the city’s mayor Hennadii Trukhanov, wrote on Telegram on April 14.

“As a result of the strike drones attack, a medical institution in Odesa sustained damage to its roof and windows; an operating room was also destroyed," he wrote.

"Fortunately, no patients were harmed.”

He added that the attack also damaged residential buildings, civilian infrastructure, a highway, a car repair shop, and several vehicles.

“As of now, five people are reported injured," Trukhanov added.

"They are receiving the necessary medical care.”

On the evening of April 13, Russia launched a drone attack on southern regions of Ukraine. Air raid alerts were issued in several oblasts, and explosions were heard in Kharkiv, Odesa, and Kherson.
