Russian attack sparks fire in Kharkiv residential building

Russian forces attacked Kharkiv’s Industrialnyi district on the morning of June 10, hitting a high-rise residential building and starting a fire on the first and second floors, Mayor Ihor Terekhov reported.

At least three people were injured in the strike, Terekhov said.

The mayor had earlier reported a Shahed drone hit in the Industrialnyi district. In the Nemyshlyanskyi district, two people were injured after drone debris fell.

Russia launched a massive drone attack on Kharkiv overnight on June 10, with 26 enemy strikes recorded across the city and at least five people injured.

A strike was also recorded in a forest belt in the Shevchenkivskyi district. Updated information indicates there were no casualties or damage there.

Authorities also reported a hit in the Kyivskyi district. Details and consequences of the attack are still being clarified.

Russia attacked Ukraine overnight with 207 drones launched from seven directions, including Shahed attack drones, jet-powered variants, Gerbera and Italmas UAVs, Banderol loitering munitions, and Parodiya decoy drones.
