One of the fires in Poltava has been contained, while firefighters continue working to extinguish the remaining blazes and assess the full extent of the damage.

Emergency psychologists, medics, and all relevant city services are currently on the ground, providing assistance and coordinating response efforts.

The explosions occurred in the early hours of the morning, following a wave of Russian Shahed drone attacks. One of the drones struck a building housing a local military enlistment office (TCC and SP), sparking a major fire.

Another drone hit a nearby area, causing a fire to break out on the grounds of a private residential building.
