Russian drone strikes spark fires at industrial sites across Kyiv Oblast

The drone raid ignited blazes at industrial enterprises in the Boryspil district. At one of the affected commercial facilities, flames destroyed seven cargo trucks.

Russian forces also carried out two separate drone strikes against a major logistics complex building.

All reported fires were already fully extinguished.

On Sept. 6, emergency teams reported a large-scale fire that erupted at an infrastructure site in the Fastiv district following a Russian aerial assault.

On Sept. 5, a Russian attack killed two civilians in the Bucha district of Kyiv Oblast. As of 6 p.m. that evening, 28 separate infrastructure and residential sites had sustained damage across five administrative districts in Oblast. The damaged properties included private and multi-family homes, commercial warehouses, railway tracks, the grounds of an agricultural enterprise, and civilian motor vehicles.

Kyiv Oblast Military Administration officials added that firefighters were actively working to suppress an additional blaze in the Fastiv district resulting from Russian strikes. No casualties were reported from that scene.
