Russia’s drones strike Sumy hospitals overnight - photos

At approximately 1:00 a.m., a Russian drone struck the roof of Krasnopillia Hospital. No casualties were reported, but emergency services were deployed to the scene, and patients and medical staff were evacuated.

Earlier, on the evening of March 18, another Russian drone hit the roof of the Sumy Clinical Hospital, causing structural damage but no reported injuries. The State Emergency Service (SES) confirmed that firefighters quickly extinguished the flames and helped evacuate 147 patients, including nine with limited mobility.

The attack also caused damage to a children's medical facility.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy condemned the strike, confirming the direct hit on a hospital in Sumy just before midnight.
