The first strike hit a gas station located in the capital's Holosiivskyi district on the right bank of the Dnipro River. Shortly thereafter, a second drone hit a filling facility in the left-bank Darnytskyi district, igniting a structural fire across the station's canopy roof.
Preliminary assessments confirmed one civilian was injured in the strike in Darnytskyi district.
National oil and gas company Naftogaz Group later verified that the Holosiivskyi facility was part of its Ukrnafta retail network.
"This morning brought another strike on an Ukrnafta service station — the sixth over recent weeks," said Serhii Fedorenko, head of NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine.
"Station personnel had evacuated to a designated bomb shelter following established safety protocols. Fortunately, no staff members were injured."
Images and footage circulated across local news channels showed the strike hit an Ukrnafta station in Holosiivskyi district, while the damaged site in Darnytskyi district was identified as a commercial station belonging to the private UPG chain.
Russian forces have targeted Kyiv with waves of strike and decoy drones since midnight, setting off multiple air raid sirens and surface-to-air detonations. Municipal authorities also recorded impacts across the facilities of a transit enterprise in Solomianskyi district and commercial storage warehouses in Holosiivskyi district. In addition, an urban transportation infrastructure site in Darnytsia came under attack during the morning hours.
Situational reports released by the Air Force indicated that Russian forces launched 161 unmanned aerial vehicles of various types against Ukrainian territory overnight, with air defense units intercepting and neutralizing 119 incoming targets.
