Russian assault through gas pipeline foiled in Kharkiv Oblast - video

The military from 77th Brigade posted the video of the enemy's failed offensive.

Russian forces tried to use the pipeline as a concealed route to emerge and then build up assault forces. The events shown in the video took place north of Novoplatonivka, in the direction of Nova Kruhliakivka and Zahryzove in Kharkiv Oblast.

Approximately 50 Russian troops were involved in the attempted breakthrough.

Ukrainian soldiers detected the enemy’s intentions in time and disrupted the assault. The military confirmed the elimination of at least 40 Russian occupiers.

“As a result of the operation, the enemy failed to achieve its objectives, and the situation in the area of responsibility has been stabilized,” the military said.

On Dec. 13, Ukrainian forces destroyed a section of pipeline that Russian troops used to infiltrate Kupyansk.

On Sept. 12, DeepState monitoring project reported that Russian forces were using a gas pipeline to cross the Oskil River and enter Kupyansk. The invaders built an entire “logistics artery,” with pipeline entrances located near Lyman Pershyi. To move through the pipeline, Russian troops reportedly used wheeled platforms and electric scooters.
