"The enemy attempted to deliver an exeptionally powerful strike on a targeted area,” Humeniuk said.
”Once again, it was Odesa. Drones were launched in a concentrated effort from the Black Sea for 1.5 hours."
Russians attempted to navigate routes through residential and industrial districts.
"There was a lot of maneuvering among residential buildings," Humeniuk said.
This tactic of terrorizing the civilian population has become a recent strategy of the enemy, said Humeniuk.
"In Odesa, there has been damage to an infrastructure facility, and administrative buildings have been affected. Based on preliminary data, there are no reports of casualties,” she said.
“We hope it remains that way.”
Russian invasion forces massively attacked Odesa Oblast with drones on the night of March 11, the Southern Defense Forces reported.
Air defense units shot down ten Shahed drones.
Drones hit an infrastructure facility, damaging administrative buildings and private homes near Odesa.
