Russia deploys 105 UAVs, strikes hit 14 locations in Ukraine

Russian forces launched a mass drone attack on Ukraine, deploying 105 strike UAVs, including Shahed, Gerbera, Italmas, and other types, about 70 of which were of Shahed type, Air Force reported on Feb. 4.

Air defense neutralized 88 Russian drones over northern, southern, and eastern oblasts. As a result of the attack, 17 drones struck targets at 14 locations, while debris from intercepted UAVs fell at five more sites.

As of 8:00 a.m., the Russian air attack was still ongoing, with several drones remaining in Ukrainian airspace, the Air Force warned.

Russian drones struck Odesa, damaging more than 20 residential buildings, two kindergartens, and one school. Two people were injured.

In Kharkiv, a combination of drone and missile strikes damaged residential buildings and an infrastructure facility.

Russian forces also attacked Dnipropetrovsk Oblast overnight, killing two people.
