The Russian forces launched a large-scale drone
attack on Slovyansk in Donetsk Oblast, leaving the city partially without
electricity, Vadym Liakh, head of the Slovyansk Military Administration,
reported on May 7.
"Russia launched 10 drones at the city, strike targeted the industrial zone," he wrote.
“Fortunately, no casualties were recorded.”
The local outlet Novosti Donbasa (Donbas News) reported that Slovyansk was left partially without power following the enemy attack. So far, energy companies and local authorities have not confirmed whether energy infrastructure was directly hit.
Back on Feb. 27, the Russian army shelled both Kostiantynivka and Slovyansk in Donetsk Oblast.
Local governor Vadym Filashkin added that an administrative building and a café were damaged in Slovyansk.
