Russian forces target passenger bus in Kherson, killing four

A Russian drone strike hit a passenger bus in Kherson on August 19, killing four people, the National Police reported.

Four women and the bus driver suffered blast injuries.

Police emphasized that law enforcement officials are working to document the attack as yet another war crime perpetrated by Russian forces. 

The Kherson Regional Military Administration reported that Russian forces struck the bus at 8:50 a.m. in the city's Korabelnyi district.

Russian forces launched numerous strikes across Kherson Oblast over a 24-hour period on August 18. In Novokairy, an FPV drone killed two men, aged 58 and 67, while 12 other people were wounded across the region. Among the injured were two police officers whom authorities say were targeted by a Russian FPV drone in Kherson, along with a bus driver, civilian motorists, and residents of Kherson, Novovorontsovka, Havrylivka, and Bilozerka.
