Earlier on Oct. 6, Russian forces launched drone attack on Kharkiv. Mayor Ihor Terekhov reported 15 strikes, which caused fires in the Novobavarskyi and Shevchenkivskyi districts and injured four people.
Russian troops also struck Odesa Oblast, hitting a civilian industrial facility and sparking a fire.
Ukrainian Air Force data indicated that Russia launched 116 drones across Ukraine overnight on Oct. 6. Ukrainian air defense intercepted 83 UAVs, but 30 Shahed drones hit their targets.
