Russians engage in systematic looting, threatening civilians with violence, according to Hayday.
“A car with (Russian) occupiers in it ‘suddenly’ exploded in Severodonetsk’s central square the other day,” said Hayday.
“Six wounded, with four of them – critically so.”
The official added that Russians continue their search for anyone who supports Ukraine.
“It’s unfortunate that some neighbors and even relatives feed (Russians) addresses of their (pro-Ukraine) fellow citizens,” he said.
Russian forces continue their attacks along the front lines in the region.
Ukrainian forces withdrew from Severodonetsk and Lysychansk – the last two major cities on Luhansk Oblast to fall into Russian hands – by July 3. Around 20,000 residents remain in these two cities.
Russia managed to advance mere 30 kilometers in the region after four months of fighting.
