Drone attack targets Russia’s southern regions and occupied Crimea

Overnight explosions and drone attacks in Russia’s Krasnodar Krai and Rostov Oblast were reported by the Astra Telegram channel on Nov. 28.

Krasnodar Region Governor Veniamin Kondratyev confirmed a "massive" drone attack on two districts, with one woman allegedly injured and a private household damaged by falling debris in the village of Sloviansk-on-Kuban and a house in the village of Chigrina.

Eyewitnesses reported damage to the bridge over the Protoka River, which connects Sloviansk-on-Kuban to the village of Trudobelikivskoe. The road surface was probably damaged, Astra suggested.

Explosions were also reported by residents of the city of Taganrog in Rostov Oblast.

The Russian Defense Ministry claimed to have shot down 25 Ukrainian drones, with 14 in Krasnodar Krai, six in Bryansk Oblast, three in occupied Crimea, and two in Rostov Oblast. No information was provided on the number of drones that reached their targets.
