Russian officer leaks his unit data to Atesh partisan movement

The Russian officer contacted them to "help save the residents of Kherson," according to the partisans.
"He repeatedly gave us the real positions of neighboring units, including UAV operators who attacked Kherson," Atesh reported.
The received information was passed on to the Ukrainian Defense Forces, the partisans said.
The Russian officer who transmitted the information is safe and continues to cooperate with them, Atesh also clarified.
50+ people were killed and over 450 were injured in the city and oblast since the beginning of 2026, as of Kherson Oblast Military Administration data from early April. The Russian military is deliberately hunting civilians with drones.
Kherson residents call the Russian attacks on the city a "human safari."
Russian troops dropped explosives from a drone onto a garbage truck in the village of Tekstylne on the morning of April 23, the Kherson City Military Administration reported.
One of the utility enterprise workers was injured as a result of the attack.
