Russia strikes Dnipro transport enterprise on fifth day of attacks

Russian forces attacked Dnipro with Shahed drones, Dnipropetrovsk Oblast Military Administration head Oleksandr Hanzha reported early on April 17.

Updated at 8:14 a.m.: City infrastructure was targeted, one trolleybus suffered damage.

A man, aged 29, was injured in the attack.

A fire broke out and a transport enterprise was damaged as a result of the strike. 

The Ukrainian Armed Forces' Air Force warned of strike UAVs targeting Dnipro and the oblast at around 5:40 a.m.

Russians have been attacking Dnipro for the fifth consecutive day, starting from April 13.

The city suffered a massive strike the day before, on April 16, having killed five people and injuring 26. Office and administrative buildings, residential houses, an enterprise, an art museum, and cars were damaged. Fires broke out at several locations, with a five-story building and a private house partially destroyed.
