Russian strike hits Kyiv apartment building, igniting fire and injuring four

Emergency response teams reported that the impact detonated in the building’s basement, triggering an intense structural fire, destroying first-floor partitions, and tearing off a significant section of the building's exterior facade.

Firefighters extinguished the flames and safely evacuated 15 trapped residents from the smoke-filled stairwells. Four individuals suffered varying injuries, with three requiring immediate hospitalization.

In a separate incident in the capital's Darnytskyi district, falling debris ignited a tree on the grounds of a private residential property.

Preliminary reports indicate no fatalities in the capital.
