Russian forces attacked central Pryluky in Chernihiv Oblast on the morning of Sept. 14, killing three people and injuring seven, Priluky District Military Administration chief Volodymyr Chernov said, Suspilne reported.

At least two explosions were recorded in the city. Windows were shattered in nearby apartment buildings as a result of the strikes.

Police investigative teams, explosives specialists and other emergency services are working at the scene and documenting the consequences of the attack.

Russian forces struck warehouse facilities in the city, according to Suspilne.

Pryluky was also targeted in a Russian attack on Sept. 7, when a fire broke out at a British American Tobacco cigarette factory in the city.

The Pryluky factory produces seven cigarette brands and three brands of heated tobacco products, according to the company.

Around 500 people work at the facility, most of them in tobacco processing, filter production and cigarette manufacturing units responsible for the main stages of production, including tobacco preparation, filter-stick production, cigarette manufacturing and packaging.
