Traffic across the Dnipro River bridge in Kremenchuk, Poltava Oblast, has been suspended after Russian strikes damaged the roadway, regional governor Volodymyr Kohut reported on Telegram on Sept. 7.

He said the region sustained both direct hits and damage from falling debris. In Kremenchuk district, a private home, a car, and an industrial facility were hit. In Poltava district, drone debris struck the administrative building of a municipal enterprise.

“All services are working to eliminate the consequences. Fortunately, there were no casualties or injuries,” Kohut wrote.

Kremenchuk Mayor Vitalii Maletskyi said dozens of explosions rocked the city, leaving part of it without power.

The attack came as Russian forces launched another combined strike on Ukraine overnight Sept. 7. At least two people were killed in Kyiv, where apartment blocks were damaged in the Sviatoshyn and Darnytsia districts. In Pechersk district, debris ignited a government building.
